Scandinavian Ferrari Festival takes over Rudskogen
Round four of the 2026 Formula GT Challenge is just around the corner, and this time the event promises even more excitement. For the first time, the Scandinavian one-make championship will be part of Formula Racing Days, bringing together some of the most spectacular Ferraris from both the road and the racetrack at Rudskogen Motorsenter near Rakkestad, Norway.
Formula Racing Days is designed for Ferrari owners who want to experience their cars on a real racing circuit, as well as passionate fans eager to get closer to the world of Ferrari. The event combines competitive racing with track sessions, hot laps, exhibitions and parade runs featuring rare and exotic Ferrari models.
The weekend will also mark a historic milestone, as it will be the first time Formula GT Challenge visits Norway. It will also be the first time an official motorsport series featuring Ferrari Challenge and GT3 machinery competes on Norwegian soil.
“We are incredibly excited about the weekend. Rudskogen is a fantastic circuit with a technical and challenging layout that consistently delivers close and exciting racing, while its beautiful surroundings make it an outstanding venue. With Formula GT Challenge joining Formula Racing Days this year, the entire event will revolve around Ferrari, and we expect an exceptional turnout of spectators,” says Chresten Hansen, Race Coordinator at Formula Automobile.
Bringing together the Scandinavian Ferrari community
Formula Racing Days is organised in collaboration between Formula Automobile’s operations in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, bringing together the Ferrari community from across Scandinavia. From the grandstands, visitors will be able to enjoy the Formula GT Challenge field battling for championship points, while also watching an impressive selection of Ferrari road cars and exclusive supercars take to the circuit throughout the day.
“It will be a fantastic combination of race cars and road cars, with a packed programme from morning until evening. Spectators will see the Formula GT Challenge competitors fighting for victories, while also experiencing some truly special Ferrari models both on track and in the exhibition area. It will be a day filled with speed, sound, excitement, passion and community – an experience no Scandinavian Ferrari fan should miss,” adds Chresten Hansen.
The 2026 Formula GT Challenge season is currently led by Denmark’s Andreas Borris, who tops the overall Trofeo Pirelli standings, while rising talent Christian Crone leads the Coppa Formula championship.
While Friday afternoon and evening are dedicated to free practice, qualifying and all three races will take place on the main event day, Saturday, 15 August. Entries remain open for both Formula GT Challenge competitors and track day participants.
